Also was consultant to many organisations in producing/identifying raw materials like thermal coal, Saraf metals, fertilizers, plant and machinery, etc. Associates with various social & cultural organisations.

Have wide knowledge in the commissioning of Powerplants, petrochemical projects, Thermal Power Projects etc.

Holds Bachelor’s Degree in Mining from college of Engineering, Guindy. Over 45 years of experience in Indian Coal Sector in various capacities and rose to level of CMD of PSU’s, CCL and CMPD. During 10th plan period, headed the coal sub-group for the Planning Commission, Government of India, to decide on matters related to coal exploitation, coal demand and supply, production and so on and so forth. He prepared the concept paper for CBM/CMM/AMM for coal India, with a view to help the coal sector exploit and recover vast CBM resources. He has received many national awards for productivity, safety and managerial excellence.
